The Northern Conn Wings have finalized their tournament schedule for the upcoming weeks.  Both the Junior Premier and the Junior A teams have entered the following tournaments:

- NConn Wings Summer Showcase, July 9-11, Simsbury CT
- New Hampshire Monarchs Summer Showdown, July 16-18, Hooksett, NH 
- Chowder Cup, July 21-25, Foxboro, MA

Tryouts for our Fall 2010 Midget (Xavier High School) teams will be held on August 31st from 6pm to 8pm.

Tryouts will be held at Champions Arena in Cromwell, CT.

The cost to tryout is $25 when paid in full before August 28th, 2010.  Registration after August 28th or at the door will be $35.

Registration can be completed at www.nconnwings.com, in the Register Online section.

The Northern Conn Wings will be forming other split-season Midget teams for non-Xavier High School players, depending on interest.  If you are interested in such an opportunity, please contact .

Former Northern Conn Wings player Nick Bonino signed a professional contract with the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League earlier this week.

Nick recently completed his junior year at Boston University where he led the Terriers in scoring.

Best of luck to Nick as he joins the professional ranks.
